Welcome to the Social Policy Department of the Central Ethiopia Regional State Policy Study Institute. Our mission is to advance research and provide actionable insights to address critical social welfare and human development challenges across the region. By fostering collaboration and promoting evidence-based policies, we are dedicated to building a brighter future for the communities we serve. Our Core Functions We are committed to: Conducting impactful research on social welfare, education, health, women and children’s affairs, and youth development to inform policy and drive positive change. Collaborating with regional research and academic institutions to foster innovation, enhance knowledge sharing, and promote sustainable solutions. Building capacity in social policy formulation and implementation by equipping policymakers and practitioners with effective tools and strategies. Sharing our findings and insights through workshops, seminars, conferences, and roundtable meetings to ensure practical application and widespread impact. Through these efforts, we aim to create meaningful solutions that empower communities, enhance social welfare, and contribute to human development within the Central Ethiopia Regional State.
